I am looking to purchase some rear speakers and due to the limited space I was thinking bookshelf. I found a pair of m30's new in box w/black faces for $134.00 + free shipping on ebay. I also seen a pair of tsi100's from $177.00 - $219.00. I was wondering which would be better, from what I read the tsi series replaced the monitor series. Is this correct?
I like the tsi's with the black tops which I think woold match my RTA15's but the price on the monitors looks good.

Input please and thanks
Jon

They are basically identical speakers for all purposes.

Just an FYI, if you keep an eye on NewEgg, you can get the M30's for $119 new (free shipping as well). They are out of stock at the moment, but should ahve some more soon. They go on sale almost every other week.

Polk really improved the looks of the monitor line with the series II, so if they're going to be pulling rear duty and you're not matching the fronts, the savings are definitely worth it. Go with the monitors, and + 1 for newegg, they have the best prices on them.
