Well, I bought ANOTHER Technics SL-1350 to have around for parts for my other two. Turns out that besides a short in my patch cables that this one works better than the other two.
Does anyone have a suggestion on replacing these and which brand/model and where to buy?

Thanks

Monster Cable M series works well. However, my cables work better.

Do you make cables for turntables?

Yes, I make cables for the following:

    Turntables
    Interconnects
    Digital Cable
    Speaker Cable

The results are spectacular!!! I only use my cables throughout the audio chain. HDMI is the only exception. I will post pictures later tonight or tomorrow. I will be busy tearing apart my audio system to put in some new upgrades.

As promised, some parts arrived yesterday - audio related - which took up my time. Hence, I never got around to posting pics on the PA Forum. If anyone is interested, send me your email address. I plan to post pics of the cables that I made when I get some time. I promise!!! I am quite proud of the results.

Pepster was kind to share his work on cables he made. I must say, I am very impressed.

Yesterday I managed to solder a new cable into my SL-1350 and it works! Auditioned the deck (w/new cables) with Frank Zappa-One Size Fits All
While I had it opened up I Dynamatted the inside of the bottom cover. The unwanted rezonance when trying to "crank it up" is G.O.N.E.

Did the ground wire removal mod today. My SL is looking neater and sounding better! I'm thinking about doing the external tone arm damping mod next.
