I am looking at some SDA SRS 2 for sale - $600. They are stock with just the tweeters replaced a couple of years ago. I haven't seen much for sales lately - may be good or not so good. Would they work in place of my RTi12s in HT with my other RTi speakers? I am going to make the strong assumption they will be better in 2-channel.

As always, just looking for some awesome, free advice. Thanks.

Thanks - you must be the "guy from Denver" he talked to. Glad you may have too many SDAs now. Give some of us newbies a chance to own some. Will it sound good in the HT? Or at least as good as I have now?

Thanks - can't wait to get them hooked up. Guess I need to make my Adcom 5503 a common ground first. Is my Sunfire AVR a common ground and would it be "better" to use than the Adcom? Or, will it cause problems having the fronts 4-ohm and the others 8-ohm? I am afraid I just jumped further down the rabbit hole.

He also has a pair of Acoustic Research M6s for sale - possibly down to $200 - if anyone is interested. http://www.classicspeakerpages.net/library/acoustic_research/holographic_series_1990/holographic_series_brochure/holographic_series_brochure.pdf

Sounds like he is going through a divorce and does not want his ex to get them or know the proceeds. I would get them but my wife said she would leave me if I bought another pair of speakers. I will probably miss her when I am not listening to my speakers!
