hello guys,

i found this record about a month ago and have been very very surprised at the quality of the music, the state of the record and just how sweet it sounds on my system. if any of you are into sergio mendes or brazilian jazz this is one to have in the collection.

what surprises me the most is that a recording made in 65 sound so freaking live, i feel that i am in the first row of the matador with them just chilling and having some wine, is that good!!!

    Hi Eduardo, I couldn't agree with you more. It's a great live recording.

    I don't know if your familiar with Soul Jazz records, they have some really good compilations of Brazilian music.
    I recently purchased Bossa Jazz and Bossa Nova from Soul Jazz records. I highly recommend Bossa Jazz if you like Sergio Mendes at El Matador.
