I posted a few days ago about shorting out my amplifier while changing some interconnects (stupid me). Alex immediately posted and PM'ed me asking if I needed help diagnosing the problema nd offering valuable time out of his day. He helped me get to the root of it and give me the confidence to open the top and take a look at things, which made me very nervous. B&K estimated the repair at $300. I finally realized with Alex's persuasion to pop the chasis and found out that there were not one but a pair of fuses for each channel. 2 channels had blown the lower fuse (which are pretty well hidden I might add). A trip to Radio Shack and a couple bucks later, the amp is up and running perfectly again.
So Thank YOU Alex and this is what this forum is all about. If I can reciprocate in any way, please let me know.
Take care and Happy New Year,
Shawn
