LSi9 bi-amping question

This is my setup:

LSi9's
MicroPRO 2000
Parasound Newclassic 2150 amp
Parasound Newclassic 2100 preamp

My question is, should I bi-amp the LSi9's using the speakers A & B outputs on the back of the 2150? I feel like this will effect only the overall sound because I wont be able to control the zones separately, which is in my mind the only reason to bi-amp, but maybe I'm wrong. What do you guys think?

Happy new year!

True biamping requires the use of a separate amplifier. What you are describing is simply using the speaker "A" and speaker "B" outputs to drive your speakers. You would need to purchase another Parasound to achieve the effects of true biamping.

It's a 2 channel amp and therefore is not capable of bi-amping.

Here's something you can do to improve the sound, replace the stock jumper bars on your speakers with high quality speaker wire.

Absolutely replace the stock jumper bars! That will improve the sound. You've got good equipment so focus on things like the jumper bars, getting decent speaker cables and interconnect cables and speaker placement.
