Anyone Familiar With Onyx?
Guy on CL has a pair of Strata Minis and a matching center for 600 bones.

I'd pass unless you just want to try something different.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Actually, it's Onix. I once owned a pair of Minis. They are FANTASTIC for music. But they really won't cut it for reference-level HT. I tried it, and the 5.25" on the front looked like it was going to pop out of the front baffle it was moving so much. Also, that center is 'matching' in finish only, really. It was designed for use w/ their Ref speaker line. There was no center made for the Minis. If you're looking for a 2-channel solution, though, they really are great. The only thing I'd be worried about is the amp driving the 10" going out some day and no company to go to anymore for support."I did not slap you. I high-fived your face."

I was one of the ones at LSAF that Skip is referencing to, if your primary genre is jazz or classical they work well, my interest in the was to get them cheap at the show. They were played through Melody hybrid integrades.2-channel: Modwright KWI-200 Integrated, Dynaudio C1-II Signatures
Desktop rig: LSi7, Polk 110sub, Dayens Ampino amp, W4S DAC/pre, Sonos, JRiver
Gear on standby: Melody 101 tube pre, Unison Research Simply Italy Integrated
Gone to new homes: (Matt Polk's)Threshold Stasis SA12e monoblocks, Pass XA30.5 amp, Usher MD2 speakers, Dynaudio C4 platinum speakers, Modwright LS100 (voltz), Simaudio 780D DAC
