Looking for a mega changer at a reasonable price if anyone has one lying around. Please PM me info if you have one. Looking for a 25, 50, 100, 200, 300, 400 - the bigger the better. I am trying to catalog my cd collection and free up some clutter.
Thanks,
Shawn
Thanks,
Shawn

Why not go digital Shawn?CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

dorokusai's question is a very reasonable one... that being said... :-)
I've got a Pioneer 25 disc (dump find) that I believe works fine. If it is of any interest, it could be yours for the cost of postage.
I will need to check out its functionality more thoroughly, though, before foisting it off on anyone.
PM me if this is of any interest. -
I'd snatch Mark's offer and re-evaluate what you want to do afterwards. This would allow you to do what you want to initially, for whatever reason, and work out the bugs you may feel you have later.
I may even have some extra cartidges for that unit in my goody box, that you can use for the transfer.

I cannot pass 'em by when I see 'em on the swap pile; they're like big-eyed puppies in the pound to me :-P
EDIT: I don't have a photo of it, but same changer was also sold by Radio Shack for a coupla years, branded "Optimus Professional" (!) :-P It may be found, e.g., on page 86 of http://www.radioshackcatalogs.com/catalogs/1997/ (R/S model number was CD-8200). FWIW. -

Valid question; one reason is I am too stupid and set in my ways.:redface:mhardy6647 wrote: »dorokusai's question is a very reasonable one... that being said... :-)

Absolutely; thanks for the offer PM sent. Maybe I can help you out with something you might want or need in return?I'd snatch Mark's offer and re-evaluate what you want to do afterwards. epilogue - by the time ol' Marky finally sourced a box to ship the little Pioneer behemoth, Shawn had located a true MEGAchanger, so he's all set :-P
Sloth is, it will be recalled, one of the Seven Deadly Sins.
I only mention this development "publicly" because I am going to try again to find a home for the Pioneer changer - and I didn't want youse guyses thinking there was something funny going on...
Thanks/sorry Shawn! -
No problem, Mark. As he said, I located a Sony CDP-CX400 with remote and keyboard for $50 locally. I couldn't pass it up. The seller thought he had emptied it. As it stands, the guy left 120 cd's in the player as well. I emailed him and let him know so he is going to pick them up soon. Mark was very generous to offer this to me, but seeing as I don't need it now maybe someone else can benefit from his generosity.
Take Care,
ShawnShawn
