Lutron Maestro IR light Switch

Does anyone use the Lutron Maestro IR light switch available at Home Depot in their HT and control it with their Harmony remote? I'm assuming I can program a button on my Harmony 700 to control it, but interested if anyone already has experience with it. Thanks

Just an FYI - I went ahead and purchased this light switch and installed it. It works great with the Harmony 700 remote. In fact this switch (MIR-600THW) is in the devise list on the Harmony remote set up webpage. So it was an easy set up. Now I have one zone in the theater area that is controlled either by the actual light switch or by the Harmony remote. Lights fade on in 5 seconds and fade off over 15 seconds. Very cool. Now I'm thinking I want to add more.......Parasound HCA-2003A & 2205A

I just bought the same remote controlled dimmer a couple of weeks ago. My 880 controls it without any problems. I don't think you'll be able to control two of these in the same room, most likely there will be interference between remotes, i.e. both switches will operate at the same time.Panasonic PT-AE4000U projector for movies

I didn't realize those came in wireless. Is that something new, or was I just never looking? I've got these exact switches in all rooms of the house (minus the IR port). Wife thought I was crazy when I came home from the store and told her I bought like $500 worth of light switches. lol65" Sony X900 (XBR-65X900E)

Only the MIR-600THW is IR controlled. In the programing screen for my Harmony 700,i can program up to 14 switches. It must designate a switch number to each to differentiate. Very cool switch. Only drawback is that it is IR, so you have to point your remote at the switch.Parasound HCA-2003A & 2205A

They come in wireless, the switch is like 34 bucks or so. Works perfect with the Harmony Remotes. I opted for the Lutron Spacer dimmers which allow 4 modes (scenes ) of light dimming. So I can dim the lights on each switch to different settings and save those in the Harmony. Spacer system cost a tad more though if any one is wanting that option.

Could you explain this further? How do you "set" those switch numbers? There is nothing on the switch that I can see that lets you select the "number", i.e. different frequency (dip switches, etc.)
Give you an example. Say, I take 2 TVs of the same brand / model number. One remote will control both of them simultaneously. You'll have to physically block the IR port in one TV to control the other one on its own.Panasonic PT-AE4000U projector for movies

I'm thinking you can program the Harmony to dim up to 14 switches. The Maestro is just an IR dimmer, the spacer allows for more "programming" in which Lutron calls them scenes.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

I went back to my remote programing site and cannot find the screen where i saw the multiple switch programing. Maybe i misunderstood the multiple switch thing since i have apparently have maxed out the number of devices i can add.Parasound HCA-2003A & 2205A
