Headed back to Romania again on Sunday morning, will be there pretty much the entire month of January:cheesygrin: Too bad the weather is the same as it is here in Ohio during the winter, but at least I will be with my girl and not at work:smile:

Lol...I think I will just stick to relaxing while we are there, although my grandparents old house there does have a workshop full of wood working tools...also i think my girl wants to do lots of activities together, including lots of horizontal ones lol(I hope she doesn't see that I typed that)

My wife's sister and her family lived there for three years. They do some missionary work for their church. Her husband travels the world, helping people in other countries setup churches. He gets a LOT of frequent flier miles. She said that when they were in Romania, they stayed a couple of miles or so from one of Dracula's castles. It was for sale. Don't know if it was ever sold or not. I don't think I'd buy it, even if I had the money............ :)

Don't know if your fiance is interested in history, but perhaps you might offer some insight as to how Vlad Tepes earned the nickname, "Vlad the Impaler", in a manner of speaking.
In any event, have a great trip !

Actually she is from Romania as well lol(even has the sexy accent:cool:) And thanks, I will actually get to visit the capital, Bucharest, this time. Except for passing through the airport last time, I haven't been there since I was 3 years old when my parents immigrated to the US. Oh and no sexy accent for me:cheesygrin::eek:

Just got back from another great trip to Romania last night...we had a wonderful time even though it was cold. What a shame I have to go back to the daily grind tomorrow:cry: Posted a few pics from the trip. The palace you see in the pics has a room for every day of the year. We didn't get to see inside because they are doing a lot of restoration to the palace.

Beautiful old world country, nice pics. Nice travelling companion, too, if I may.

..... if you don't mind answering a few questions, though .... since you've returned, do you have an aversion to sunlight ? Are you able to see your image in mirrors ? Any aversion to garlic/cucifixes ? Feelings of immortality ?
