I have a nice HK 3490 for sale. It has been a great receiver and I've owned it since new for just over a year. I've moved into separates so it's time to move this on.
This has been in my office and has seen pretty lite use, it's been run as a pre only for at least 6 months now...
Never abused and in a smoke and pet free environment. I have original box, paperwork and remote.
$225 shipped
Pm me if you would like pictures!

My H/K 3490 HAS pre outs. Ran my Carver TFM 35 with it. One of the main reasons I bought it :biggrin:Main system:

+1
The 3490 has pre outs, this one currently runs my Parasound HCA 1500A. -
I didn't word that right my bad.I know the H/K3490 has pre out's.I upgraded my H/K2600 and my H/K3490 for the H/K3600 for the pre out's.I had both in a set up with mono block amps.Using a A/B amp switch so i could use only my main front's.So i replace the two with the H/K3600 so i could input my mono block's for HT too.

I used to run mine with an Adcom 545 before I got my Nakamichi pre. Now it does TV duty in my office with a couple of Energy bookies and a sub. And I must say, it does that very well!
A great all around entry unit. Great for a second system in your house!
Can't believe it's still here!

Hi! Ratster told me about this and I would like to purchase it. Please let me know if it is still available and how you would like me to pay for it.
Also, is it $225 or $210 shipped?
Thanks,
Cindy -
Excellent gear for the price, you won't find anything comparable at this price point.

Congrats to all concerned.
I got a new h/k 3390 about a year ago, and immediately wished that I had gone ahead and sprung for the 3490. (There was quite a price difference at the time.)
If I didn't already have the 3390, I woulda snapped up UpstateMax's 3490 in a heartbeat. -
Congrats to Max. Hope Cindy will stick around and join in the shop talk around here. You'll need to complete that two channel system, and I can guarantee that everyone here would be only to happy to help you with that!
Welcome to Club Polk!
Enjoy!
