New to this form so not sure if this is the right place to post this.
I have a set of tsi500's. My amp started going into protect mode(denon 891) at high volume levels. Thought something was wrong with it but narrowed it down. Found that the tweeters are blown in both speakers. How is this possible?
Anyway where can I get replacement tweeters?

I thought I read where you have a 7.1 set up. If that is the case, you might have over driven the AVR past it rated output, that caused it to clip and burn up your tweeters. Or maybe not. Power ratings go down in most AVR's as more speakers are added.

I have been reading up on this and yes I think you are right. Have had the speakers for 3 years now , they have 5 year warranty. Most likely this is not covered. Where can I buy a new set of tweeters

Call Polk Customer Service. Let them know you're on Club Polk and you should get a discount.
