Center/surrounds to match a set of Model 10 fronts?

I'm not in front of them right now, but I had written this down from the back:
Polk Audio Monitor Series 10 206821
What would be recommended as a center to match? I'm not as concerned about voice-matching the rears, but I would guess I need to pick up a set of bookshelf speakers that also use the same tweeter and just use one as the center? I'm just concerned about the center being at a different height and also the magnet interfering with my screen? Thanks for the input!

Hay cody,I use a monitor 7b as a center with a set of 10s as mains and another set of 7bs as rears all with peerless tweeters so they match.Sounds pretty good to me.I'm sure a set of monitor 5s would be OK if you match the tweeters with what you have in your 10s.I don't have a screen in my shop yet so maby one of the other members can answer your question on magnets interfering for you.I hope this helps. Dan P.s welcome to club polk.

Looking at a set of early 4.6's, but I can't find much information on them?

Cody I found this,http://www.polksda.com/monitor4-6.shtml Tells a little about them.If the price is right give them a try.

Thanks, I found some information on them and went ahead and bought them. Hoping to get them in soon, then possibly a receiver upgrade!

I hope you like them, enjoy the ride.

I have a CS350 center speaker (black cabinet) for sale if you're interested.

I may be interested... PM me with more information! Somewhat on a budget, as I recently bought a set of Model 10's and 4.6's!

This forum won't let me PM, cuz of my low post count. Email me offline. kerlyb (at) aol (dot) com. Joe -
I use a pair of 4's as stereo centers with great results (my Yamaha DSP-A1 amp supports stereo centers). I still can't believe those things are over 30 years old (and with peerless tweets to boot).Yamaha RX-A2050 AVR (5.0.2); LG OLED77C2 4K TV(4) Polk Monitor 10B's w/SoniCaps, Mills, and RDO-194 tweets (R/L F/R)(2) Polk RC80i (Top Middle)Polk CS300 center channelAnalog: B&O TX2 Turntable, Nakamichi Cassette Deck 1Digital: Pioneer CLD-99 Elite LD, Panasonic DMP-UB900 UHD Blu-RayBedroom: Arylic Up2Stream AMPv3 driving Polk Monitor 4's w/peerless tweets

Looks like it will be Model 10's up front, 4.6's for surround, and a CS350 for center!

The CS350 isn't a good match IMO. I used an RT7(same series as the 350) as my center speaker with Monitor RTA12's and it didn't blend well at all. It's best to stick with a model that uses the same tweeter as your front left and right speakers.Display: Sony 42" LCD

It's probably the closest I can find available in my price range right now... this is the system at my weekend home, and I am only there a couple of times a month. I may be able to consider either a switch to a different center later, or possibly a tweeter upgrade to match my SL2500's in my fronts and surrounds.
