They are 40" apart....that's as far apart as I can get 'em and keep 'em a foot from the side walls. Ideally, they should be in a bigger room....

Never thought of reversing them.....not sure how that would work out.

Real nice looking rig. I little to fancy to be considered a "man cave" though. You need to move that garage fridge to the cave to manly it up a bit.

Both rigs look real sweet though.

Edit: I'm sorry all 3 rigs.....

LOVE Scott tissue man. 1000 sheets PER roll. Not the last word in softness, but man it goes a LONG way.

Rigs look good Troy. I've got the same 'issue' with my SRS. They could be (and probably should be) in a bigger room, but I also think there is something to be gained from an 'intimate' setting.

    Cheers,
    Russ

Beemers aren't going ANYWHERE....I keep 'em in the cave. I like to switch things up every once in a while....

I don't have all the money in the world so I still have need for option. (some folks will get that)

That's cool. How do they sound compared to the LSi9? Which do you prefer?

There was a time when I thought Beamers can't rock. Now that I think about it, I heard them many years ago and at that time I was pumping the bass boost on my Technics receiver with Kenwood speakers. I didn't know anything about good sound back then.

And when you've used up enough rolls...

    Wait for it...

You can build a nice Scott tube amp!

Thank you, thank you very much! I'll be performing in the Blue Room through October. Goodnight and God bless.

    organ,

That is a good question, a VERY good question.

A more equal comparison would be the LSi7's (which are sitting on the other side of the DVD/CD rack)......

The LSi's have superior bass response and the ring radiator is just amazing. It must go out dead flat to a zillion hz. Detail is amazing (in terms of piano, LSi is second only to the DQ-10 around here) yada yada yada....GREAT speaker

B&W, I dunno, I just LOVE the ever so slight tilt in the mid range. Everything these speakers do, they do well.

The big difference is that, for lack of a better term, I find the LSi's somewhat unemotional. I think that could be due to the fact that they are SO damn flat. Now, I'm not saying that I don't love 'em, i do but I think that the B&W draws you in just a little more.

Having said that, when I want to listen to a good small monitor speaker, I'd say I've got two of the best. I could live happily with either one and I plan to do so.

Oh, and I think the beemers rock just FINE.
