Cool SRT related gift for Christmas

The wife surprised me this morning with this cool framed piece to display above the SRT's. Back when I bought them (nearly 2 years ago now) they came with the original boxes and packing materials. Still attached to the original plastic wrap that the mains came in was a warning sticker. I mentioned off-hand to her that I'd like to frame it and display it in the theater along with some other SRT memorabilia.... :biggrin:

    Nice!! Did you pick up the SRT's in Colorado? I remember there was a set out here in mint condition for like $5000.

    Esavinon also has a full size poster ad about the SRT system. That's a rarity!!! If you can find one of those, definately frame it!

    I bet those are extremely rare. Is it the same as the ad that ran in the various stereo magazines with Matt Polk pictured?

    Yes, it was full movie poster size and signed by Matthew Polk himself. They were used mainly as a promo item for dealers. A very cool poster. At Polk HQ there is a listening room/lab called the SRT room that had the yellow symbol on the door. Cheers. :cool:

    Nap, I think Esavinon had his full size poster signed by Matt at the Polkfest at HQ in 2008. I don't know if Ed donated it to Polk.

    I also have an interesting artifact. I have a Polk coat that may have been intended to "mock" the white lab coat he wore in the ad. Mine is brand new still in plastic. Do you know anything about this coat?

    Can't think of anything special regarding that other than what you say. Its probably just general issue. Sorry. :cool:
