Merry Christmas!!!!

I got a pair of Polk Ultrafit 500's today. I've been using Skullcandy Full Metal Jackets, and these are noticably better. I can't wait till they burn in, to see how much better they sound.

I'll go for the big guns in a couple of years, after I get tired of these ( I upgrade earbuds, since they're cheaper than speaker upgrades )
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

I got that one from my wife before we were married, then I took her to help me pick out a new set of speakers, and she got it. When I asked for the new earbuds this year, she asked me why I keep getting different earbuds.....Really???

I got a gift card to Best Buy and was thinking about getting some Polk bookshelf speakers to go for my computer speakers. Ive got a spare receiver lying around and thought about upgrading my PC sound quality since Im on this thing a whole lot more than Im on anything else. Unfortunately Best Buy doesnt have a very large selection of Polk speakers so I think I might bite on those RTi4's theyve got on Polk Direct for $150 shipped.

My dad got a pair of Monitor 30's for Christmas. Not _from_ me, but I strongly suggested the gift. So far as to order them and get them delivered here, haha.

My biggest gift was a new mobo, CPU, and memory combo for my PC. Rock!

I helped others get polk soundbars and outside speakers. The garden atrium system sounds so good that I'm going to get the sub for my yard to go with speakers I already have. The Polk speakers look like landscape lighting and visibly disappears into the garden but sound full loud and clear. They weigh heavy and project very well. So with my Xmas $ that's what I'm getting.

Jealous! I so want to get a new motherboard but since Im currently running an AMD setup and they suck right now with nothing good in sight, I dont want to drop $190 on a Sabertooth only to be saddled with my Phenom X6 for the next few years and not have anything that great to upgrade to. Thinking about just blowing out the credit card and going Intel especially with Ivy Bridge coming out in the next few months and with it being backwards compatible for a change.

This Phenom II x4 doesn't seem to suck... I haven't really gotten to play with it much yet, though. It's waaaay faster than my old Athlon64 x2.
