LSi9's - where to buy

So I'm a college student (read: low budget) who is scraping together what extra money I can save to put together a really nice sound system. I'm a music major, and this thing is really valuable to me. This is what I have so far:

Parasound Pre-amp newclassic 2100
Parasound amp newclassic 2125
Polk MicroPRO 2000
Polk R10 bookshelf speakers

As you can see, one of these things is not like the other! I was totally planning on buying some Polk LSi9's, and I have been saving money up until I had enough to buy them from amazon. Well, I finally bought them, but the next day I got a letter from Amazon telling me they were sold out! Now the only ones I can find anywhere (from a real store or from online) are either used, or ~$1200, which is waaaaay inflated!

My question to you guys is two part:
Are there other speakers that you would recommend that would go well with my amps and sub?
-or-
Where can I get my hands on a pair of new LSi9s without spending $400 more than I should?

Thank you guys so much in advance!!

Thanks for the response Toolfan66! (by the way... I love Tool!!) I have two questions with this offer!
    1) should I be wary of "refurbished" speakers
    2) I didn't think eBay was an "authorized dealer" of polk audio products. Am I wrong about this?

    Thanks again!

That is Polk Audio's eBay store and don't worry about the refurbs I purchased my RTiA9's and CSiA6 from them + Polk gives you a warranty with them. I have had my speakers for 3 years now with no problems and if you saw them would never know they are refurbs.

    Buy with confidence..

As he said, it's actually Polk's store on e-Bay. I believe they have a two-year warranty. Most everyone who buys from there says their merchandise appears to be indistinguishable from new.

Edit: What he said... took me a little too long to post that!
