Mid Bass exsternal crossover

I was wondering if this was possible or even worth it. I want to add my PSW 505 back into my system as a Mid bass component only 50-150 Hz. I would like to use a Y splitter on my Sub RCA line. With one of them running directly into my HSU and the other with a inline exsternal crossover blocking anything below 50Hz, if thats plausable. Has anyone ever heard of something like this and if so where can I order such a esternal inline crossover?

The reason is because of where I have my RTI A7's placed and the HSU without the room to move them or the WAF. The Mid bass seems to get canceled or stifeled. I feel I am loosing some mid bass frequencies like Gun shots.

Any ideas are always appreciated.

I would think your gunshots would be more around the 250 to 750 range unless it was a battleship cannon.
    Too much **** to list....

I am sure I read a suppressor is designed for 170 to 3khz. That's where I would imagine is the most intense.

I found this article I think it gives more understanding than I could.

Exactly but I think I can turn this PSW505 into a similar functioning unit.

You could use an Fmod. For 50 hz, it shows brown label is the closest.

Click on "Next Page" at the top of this webpage to see the offerings. There website sucks, but I have used this as bass blockers on door speakers in my cars for years. Great to have when you don't have an electronic crossover.
