It has 4 conductors, can it be bi-wired? Is it designed for single-wire connection?

A conductor is a conductor - Im sure you could use it as a bi wire cable.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

I would assume. I used Audioquests 14/4 wire to create bi-wire and bi-amp speaker wires. This wire seems to be about the same."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
That's good DIY cable, and it can be used to biwire speakers, but remember to take into account the gauge size. I don't remember, but it may be rated with two conductors combined, so just ensure it is a large enough gauge for your wants/needs.

Each conductor gauge size is 10 awg, which is large enough. Yes, the factory made cable is two conductors combined.
