My wife's Samsung Moment "smart" phone took a dump recently. Our contract expires in Feb, so we need something to tide her over until then (we haven't decided yet if we're renewing). Would prefer a full qwerty, but not necessary. Doesn't have to be a smartphone either. Just something to make calls and text occasionally. If you've got something like that lying around gathering dust, let me know. Thx!

I've got a Sprint Motorola Q ready to go, in box with all accessories plus an OEM Motorola car charger. Full qwerty keyboard, runs Windows Mobile 5. This was one of the very first "sexy" smartphones that had mass appeal to consumers rather than just business users. Still a very slim phone even compared to today's phones--reviewers at the time nicknamed it the RAZR of smartphones. Non-touchscreen, and it does not do multimedia messaging (MMS) if that is important to you. It does texting and email just fine, just not the MMS. Even though it had mass consumer appeal it was still considered a business device and MMS was not considered a necessary feature.

Only issue with it is that the left soft key requires you to hold it down for a second before it responds. No idea why, not worth my time to investigate. Other than that it's fully functioning. Cosmetically it's in very good condition as it lived in a hard shell case its entire life with only the keyboard was exposed. If you want it, just say the word. Would love to see it go to someone who would actually use it.

Thanks a lot guys. I picked one up this morning locally before I saw your posts.. I haven't called Sprint yet to switch the service to the new device, so if there are any issues with that I'll let you know. Thanks a bunch!
