Pink Floyd's "The Wall" heads to 5.1 surround sound SACD....but no release date yet

From Pink Floyd engineer/producer James Guthrie....
I will be doing a 5.1 mix of The Wall for release on SACD, but we don't have a planned release date for that yet. The original multitrack tapes are in pretty bad shape, so the project will take some time.

    I'm not sure whether WYWH is good or bad in 5.1, but it is a nicely different experience to listen to that presentation of it.

    SWEET. COUNT ME IN. Anyone thats seen them knows they belong in 5.1.

    By the time they get around to doing it you'll be dead. Oh, didn't mean to say that. When they decide to release Let it Be, the movie, on Blu-Ray all the Beatle fans of the 60 and 70's will be Expired.

    Agree. Run Like Hell would sound awesome too.
