*EXCLUSIVE* Weezer News

So, any of you who know me from some of my music posting on this board know that I've been very close to the band Weezer, as a friend and die hard fan. I talked to one of Rivers' associates the other day and hey confirmed that Weezer will be releasing a 10th anniversary edition of 'The Blue Album' on October 28th. There have also been sightings of Best Buy having signs out about it....can anyone here confirm this?
I wouldn't have posted this stuff here, but I know that a few people here really like Weezer.
Aside from that, Weezer are still working on their 5th album. I'm not sure when it will be out for sure, but I'm pretty sure next fall.
They should also be doing a small tour in early-mid 2004.
I'll be conducting an interview with Rivers Cuomo, Scott Shriner, Pat Wilson, and Brian Bell sometime in the coming months. This is a definite. Scott & I keep in close contact through email, and I'm close friends with a few of their associates.
Hope you guys are excited as I am about this. No work on track info, remastering ect, but it should be good.

Very cool.
I have been to 4 different Best Buys in the last week and have not seen anything about the "blue album." I did see something in the "upcoming new release" area next to the cds about a Weezer release in October, but I am not sure if this referred to the 5th or the blue album.

Yeah, it's not the 5th album. Rick Rubin wouldn't have had time to produce that already, and they have only been doing acoustic rehearsals.

It just got pushed back to December or after Christmas. Should be out with the DVD release now.
