Store almost ready to open

Its been a long 6 months with delay after delay not to mention all the crap I had to deal with from code.
Do you believe I had to actually get a bottled water dispenser for my convenience store.I will be selling bottled water for gods sake.Anyway the construction is done and final inspections will be thursday or friday.(hopefully)

Cant wait to start working the 14 hour days and start making some money.Well,, Ill have to wait for the college kids to get back from christmas break but that will give some time to get setup.The pics dont show it but I laid 2 coats of sealer and 2 coats of wax on the floor yesterday and put up the gondula shelving and counter today.Will start stocking the store thursday night.

Maybe Ill have some time to get more pics posted sometime in the near furture.
Like spring break.ha ha....I just cant wait for State Pattys Day....You know,the penn state made up holiday that now rivals football weekends and even the arts festival.As a business you just gotta love it.:mrgreen:

    Its a Convenience store inside an apartment building that has over 500 students living in it.

    As for audio I was thinking a baby adcom amp with a monarchy DAC/PRE and a pait of 5Bjrs or monitor 7s.And possibly use a PC for a music server.

    10am to 11pm.Midnight on weekends.Possibly 3am when I can hire some reliable help.

    Congrat's, I just finished a Small Business Management class where we did a whole business plan to "open" a restaurant right next to the school. You are doing a ton of work!

    Just make sure all that gear is locked away somewhere safe so folks cant touch it, unless you want them to....

    I also would suggest mounting the speakers as high up as you can get them (or mounted to the ceiling) for the same reason, if not using some Polk Atrium's or some of their RM speakers....

    Maybe use a XM sattelite reciever for the source as honestly most kids shopping are not going to take the time to listen to the music playing in the background, however since YOU will be there 24/7 if it makes it more enjoyable DO IT lol.

    What about a small couch, table and chairs with free WIFI for patrons? You could pick them up at a cheap furniture store, if you have the room of course.
