    A question for somebody smarter than me. These come with 4 GB PC10600 / 1333MHz DDR3. If I wanted to order more now would there be any benefit to waiting until I get the PC and ordering the exact same brand or should I just get the cheapest or any other recommendations for memory brands?

    By the way, the manufacturer warranty of these desktops last until late 2014 :biggrin: Let me know how you like it.

    Got your PM. Can you tell me where you plugged your VGA monitor to? Do not use the built-in VGA port because these desktops was equipped with an AMD HD6570 video card. If your monitor doesn't support DVI, then use the included DVI-to-VGA adapter to convert the video card's DVI port to VGA port to accept your monitor connection. Call me if needed.

    It is great to know that the computer still has manufacturer warranty. Do you have any warranty documentation for us to keep as a record? Thanks.

    BTW, I am updating the new computer with Windows Update after installing Antivirus software. It might take hours to finish this task..

    Record the info on the little sticker on top of the desktop case and you'll be fine. Keep in mind that the warranty covers hardware issues (motherboard, memory, hard drive, etc.), so if you have any software problems, no use to call them.

    BTW they have 4 cores, not 8. Intel doesn't have an 8 core desktop processor out yet, only 6 cores.

    Now if you're talking threads (hyperthreading), yes it has 8 threads. Not the same however.

    Oops, thanks for pointing that out, I opened Task Manager, go to the Performance tab, saw 8 columns under the CPU Usage History section and thought it was 8 cores :(
