Happened in Houston this weekend. I have not really cared to follow the sport this season due to my personal feelings about the greediness exhibited from both sides during the lockout. This story however brought a tear to my eye and softened my jaded heart. I will be back as a fan next year, and will follow the Texan's as much as my beloved Viking's.

Thanks guys for showing football still has a heart.

    I hope they pick up the gift tax on that house, otherwise she'l need a loan for that. Sad to say.

    Yeah, I know, but this goes beyond giving away a car, a pair of snowmobiles, or a few signed jerseys. I know teams do more than just that, but it just touched me knowing that a fallen hero's spirit can rest in peace because his family has a home of their own.
