Something Wicked This Way Arrives

I recd an email that supposedly came from American Airlines confirming an order for a flight. It looked bogus and of course, I hadn't scheduled one. Called AA just to confirm there was not a mistaken email addy involved. The referenced flight number was not real.
Just wondering if anyone else recd one. It has zip file attached, which I did not open. I'm sure the **** that created/sent this junk is trying to cause something bad to happen.
Title was "Your order has been completed". Heads up everybody!

Apparently it's been making the rounds for a while now.

It's the attached zip file you need to avoid. Open that and you're sure to be infected with a virus... Or at least the virus will attempt to infect your PC. I've seen variations on this from banks, shipping companies, online greeting cards, etc. Just anything to make you think that perhaps an error was made that you need to take care of, to get you to open that file.

Some of these spammers aren't to bright. For example, today I received a spam from FedEx saying they could not deliver a package, and I needed to open the attachement and print out the shipping label. But these idiots put everybody they spammed in the To: section instead of Bcc: I guess they think a bunch of people are going to have the same package shipped to their house.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable

Can't remember they E-mail address right now, but it is in my contacts for the FBI to forward this type of thing to. When ever I get junk like this I forward it to them;). You can search what the address is, I'd look it up but it takes me about 5 min to log in and another 5-10 to get my contacts to come up. Doesn't anybody make dial up friendly web sites anymore?

That video takes me back. I remember back in 1994 I paid $300 for a 14,400bps modem. I used it so much I got to the point where I could listen to it and tell what speed it was connecting at, or whether or not I should just hang up and dial again. I thought it was blazing fast because the text would scroll past the screen faster than I could keep up with it, which was a new experience.
