Better spikes for Rti12
Has anyone changed out the plastic spikes for some nice metal ones? I did a search and all I found was that they are 1/4''-20 and a lot of references to a website (oregondv.com) that no longer works? I'd like them to be the same size and I keep looking at the Dayton's but i'm not sure if they'll be an exact fit. Thanks for the help!

I've often thought about this, but never pursued it. IMO, you'd need to replace the entire outrigger. **** nice, metal spikes into those plastic outriggers seems kind of pointless.

That's a good point, I guess the main reason was right now they don't dig into the carpet very well. I have them sitting on top of 2 12'' tiles which are on top of the carpet. Just thinking about getting some heavy metal ones to dig into the subfloor and ditch the tiles. -
The site below was recommended by F1Nut some time ago. They have some affordable replacements but I have not personally tried them and am not sure which size works with that speaker.

Meniscus Audio. I'd skip Adona and OregonDV is out of business.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
