1C upgrades

I seem to have lost my Excel document which had my list of remaining upgrades I was planning for my 1C's :frown: I've been digging through threads trying to find all the options again. I've seen talk about a TL mod for the 2.3's, but I haven't seen a reference on whether that is possible or desirable for the 1C's. I just wanted to confirm whether it's possible since the crossovers would be touched anyway.

I already have the 194 tweeters and the rings installed. I've received but not done anything with the Ponte Black grille cloth and the custom XO PCB's.

The known remaining parts (continuing to look for the specific crossover components) are:

Dynamat Extreme
Cardas CCGR-S binding posts
Cardas binding post insulator (red)
Cardas binding post insulator (black)
JB Weld
Spikes
Polyfill 1lb.
Mortite weather stripping & caulking cord
Sonic Barrier 3/4" 3-layer damping material
Inductors
Silver SDA cable

A few questions to start:

- Inductors: I've seen a few references to upgrading the inductors but I haven't seen recommended brands/models...?
- Posts: How do you install the Cardas CCGRS posts "cleanly" without using the included bases? If you mount the bases, do you need to cut a third base in half to just use one post for the SDA connection? Custom fabricate a base?
- Spikes: My 1st floor living room is carpeted, and I have the 1C's sitting on outdoor concrete tiles which are 1 3/4" tall. Other than looking better, will the spikes offer other benefits over the tiles? Ideally I need to lower the speakers about an inch. I would like spikes that are easy to adjust their height by tipping the speaker, but easy to slide also. But I think the 'easy to slide' contradicts the purpose of the spikes, no?
- Dynamat: The photos look as if the rolls comes in a triangular box, but I haven't found that part number; anyone have it? Will one box be enough?
- Sonic Barrier: Is the 3/4" variety the desirable version? Will the included 18"x24" be adequate, or else how many units will I need?
- Silver SDA cable: Is there one I can just buy which will have the correct connectors? If yes, brand/model?

Thanks!

I found an old post of mine and I'm OK with the cost unless something will absolutely not benefit me. For instance, it doesn't appear I can hear frequencies above 15kHz. I'm not sure the quantities are correct yet as I haven't found the upgrade posts.

    Resistor, 0.5ohm, 5W x2
    Resistor, 7.5ohm, 10W x2
    Resistor, 2.7ohm, 10W x2
    ESA 12uF 250VDC film capacitor x2
    ESA 2.2uF 250VDC film capacitor x4
    ESA 10uF 250VDC film capacitor x4
    ESA 39uF 250VDC film capacitor x2

The resistors are Duelund Cast, so that adds up to ~$550. Hard to swallow resistors @$50, but I only want to do this once and I've read they are the most transparent. Will different components favor different styles of music? It would typically be used for rock/pop music, TV and home theater if that matters. Is there any benefit to using a Mundorf/Duelund in the polyswitch location over a Mills? Which components are for the tweeter circuit and which are for the woofer circuit? But as I alluded to before, if I won't be able to tell the difference due to my hearing, why pay for that which I can't take advantage of?
