Have a system that i enjoy very much! However,I've always thought i would love a rt3000,for their extra mid-range speaker! Maybee in the back of my mind,my Rt2000i's are missing a little mid-range!
Anyways, I see the Rti12's on a super deal from Polks Ebay store, and was wondering if anyone has had exp. from both?! Should i jump,or sit? :question

I would hit up the RTI 12's as the 3000p's parts are far and few between. The 12's will over you a nice upgrade over the 2000's with a more forward sound and better punch.

I felt the same way with my RT800's for mains. Meaning it was missing something I couldn't put my finger on. I stacked RT55's on top of the 800's and the did the trick. If you like the RT 2000's for bass and need a little more top end I would consider stacking some RT55's on them. I bet you will like what you hear. All you are doing is using your A/B function on your AVR.

I would be leary on stacking 2 different series, unless you use them seperately, and even then I would be more apt to just upgrade the front 2. Consider also that center channel would need upgrading too. I think even now with the 2000's, a cs400 would be a better match.

Depending on budget of coarse, there's a world of sound out there to experience. Try different speaks, different gear, you may just like what you hear even better.
