Dilema RtiA9 to Finish off my system or LSi15/25's

I currently have two RTiA7's (Fronts), A CSIA6(Center), two RtiA3's (Rear), and two TSi500's (Side). While it sounds great, I have been wanting to buy a pair of RTIa9's to put up front, move my RTIA7's to the sides, and round off my system. Then I looked online. It wiill cost less to buy refirbished LSi15's or 25's than iit will to buy the RTIA9's. It seems like a not brainer until you think that I will also have to get a new LSIC, LIS9's and LSI/FX's to go with it. All of which are at a ridiculously good price right now.
I would prefer to not spend the money on all new speakers riight now, but the LSI's do sound beautiful. Also, I have nowhere around to compare the LSI15 to the LSI25. I have heard a couple of peoople say that the 25 is a bit too boomy. I do like bass, but have 2 HSU VTF-15's and do not want the tower subs to sound bad when my bass right now is ok.
My amp is a sunfire cinema grand 7X200 (8Ohm). How does that work with the LSi's. Would it bee too much, not enough, or what. Thsy are lower OHM and lower sensativity. Would I expect them too not be quite as loud?
I am not sure if it matters buy my room is 25X20.
Please help.

Polk had some RTiA9's on eBay for a $1000 in cherry

I would put your money on them with what you have already.Polk Audio SDA 2.3tl Fully Hot Rodded. 😎

I unfortunately got the rest in black. Mt fahter had a set of cherry speakers growing up, and they were always outdated. Woods come in trends, I figured blackk is always trendy. Unfortunately, I have a vrey formal living room, and the black seem to take away from it a bit. I wish I would have gone with the cherry, because they are beautiful speakers. It almost seems wrong to get the RTi seriies when Polk Direct has the LSI25's for $1,199. Only $200 more. Unfortunately, I think not having your entire system timber matched does not quite sound right, so I would have to replace everything. That steps it up to about a $2000 difference huh?

I wouldn't give up my RTiA9's for the 25's but that's just me if I was to go with the LSi series I would get the 9's or 15's over the 25's all day long But like I said that's my opinion. The 25's do nothing for me...Polk Audio SDA 2.3tl Fully Hot Rodded. 😎

And again the RTiA9's are a much better match with what you already have especially with that center.
And that amp will be great with either setup.Polk Audio SDA 2.3tl Fully Hot Rodded. 😎

I think I will get the Rtia9's. Thank you for your imput. Do you know anyone in the midwest looking to swap out the black for the cherry in the r7's and a3'?
-
Good luck on that one. I don't know anyone who would swap.

Buy the RTI A9's. Sell the RTI A7's and TSI500's. Buy a pair of BiPole Dipole FXI A4's or A6's for side surrounds. Keep the RTI A3's for rear surround duityAVR: Onkyo Tx-NR808

I think the advice you took from toolfan was a good decision, I will one day send my a5's to the rear and get me some a9's and sell my a3's. I believe somone here has a pair of A9's for sale with a minor imperfection for $500, and he is from the midwest Wisconsin as a matter of fact don't remember If they were cherry or black.Home Theater

I had a suspicion that you had a set of A9's. Yes... Tool DOES sound great on them
Back on topic... I vote to get the A9's. Your amp will do fine. -

I would second this motion!
I had A9's and A7's together and then sold the 7's and upgraded my A4's to A6's. Have not looked back since. The 7's are nice but to me they were being wasted as rears/surrounds.
Everyone is different in how they set their system up and I know a few people on here that use 7's in the back and like them. Tough call! -

Get her a really nice Vacuum Cleaner and a new set of pots and pans for Christmas. Women like those gifts.

Right!!!! That's the quick way to divorce (I'm sure you were kidding as were I)!! I did everything wrong in my first marriage, I bought small kitchen appliances for birthday and Christmas gifts, boy did I get a frozen continent in return. The worst gift of all time I gave to my X was a decorative salad dressing assortment gift box, that was on Valentines day.
