I know, Dennis and Carl are gone....but it's likely this may be the last chance to see this iconic group with most of its surviving members together.

Some things should be left in the past. I would hate to mess up my memory of them with what that could turn out to be.

    Good luck to them.

I sort of agree with Joe. Thing is Dennis never played on their hits - he sucked on the drums and only played cause Dad made him. I think Carl was a musician, though.

I think Hal Blaine and other studio guys did the records.

Damn, I thought Mike Love was dead too. I just googled him and he's still alive.

Dennis was the only surfer in the band though. ...and he could re-jet the carb on the side of the road.

I never understood the appeal of this band. Oh well, to each his own.

Great melodies, great voices, mediocre lyrics. Great stuff man. The guy was "King of the Two 1/2 Minute Feel Good Song". Then about forty years ago he got in a bad rut. "I Get Around" is boss.

+1, Big Fan here. I will go and drag the kids with their fingernails digging into the sidewalk as we are headed for the car on the way to the show.

Once the music starts I'll bet they get into it!

No doubt. They are the band of Summertime. There were some wild/fun times when they played the mall in DC. Then you had the uproar when James Watt would not let them play, caused quite a stir.

I bet my Mom is waiting for them to come to San Diego, ah the memories of her cranking out Good Vibrations out of that RCA TV/ Stereo Combo of hers that took up half the living room. The times at Mission Beach hearing the Beach Boys blaring out of everyones transistors.

What George said! Their harmonies cannot be beat, The Beach Boys and the Eagles are the best when it comes to outstanding harmonizations.

"Sir" McCartney is wearing girlie shoes in that picture. Brian is wearing the totally accepted white socks and black work shoes.

This speaks volumes to me, as real men do not wear clogs.
