Hi, I am new to this post and some what amateur audiophile. This may be considered a dumb question by some, but I need to ask. I just purchased a set of RTi 8's and RTi 4's I am currently runnig a Harmon Kardon AVR 210 Kef CS and a Klipsch RW12. My question is am I am going to have enough power to run the RTi's, also I have an old Fisher CA 210 Studio Series Amp can I add that to the mix, or do I need pre-amp connections on my H K? Can I bridge the amp and receiver? any input would be great. Thanks.

    First welcome to Club Polk!

Next I will try answer the other questions but I don't know anything about that Fisher amplifier:
    1. That AVR will have enough power for that setup as long as you keep the volume level resonable.
    2. You can add that amp but you will need pre-outs on the AVR which I think it does have.
    3. You cannot bridge the AVR and Fisher amplifiers together. If that is a stereo amp then I would just run the RTi8 off it and run the rest of the speakers off the AVR.

    Hope that helps.

The Harmon Kardon AVR 210 does have pre-outs for all channels it looks like. They are in a line towards the bottom of the back of the receiver. I agree with MAD, I would use the Fisher amp connected to the front L/R speakers, and run the center and surrounds off the receiver. I also agree with him that your receiver should have enough power to run those speakers without using the fisher, as long as you don't try and reach ear-bleeding levels. If you hear any distortion or the speakers clipping, make sure to turn it down
