I posted on this quite sometime back but never really got the answers I was looking for...I probally do alot more reading on here than I do postings...Alot of the reason being that sometimes it is hard to explain what you are needing. I am hoping that someone has the same receiver as me or understands what I am getting at, I have had the same receiver for a while but never have felt that it is setup right and could sound a whole lot better. I plan on upgrading it later on but I want to finish up everything else first. Enough rambling and to the point I guess.... I have a Sony STR-DE945 and never have found the settings I like, it seems like everytime I mess with them its worse..In the set up it has the options for you hz and your khz for each individual speaker. I am not an electrician nor do I build speakers so this gets me lost. For speakers I have RT1000i's, CS400i, and FX500i's. I have yet to find the proper settings for this receiver to run this setup right for me. Hell I don't care if this has to be done via phone conversation as long as I can get it setup right and just leave it alone. Thanx!
