That post was just a tip, I'm not affiliated with the seller and I don't live in Florida. Try Polk Direct on ebay, they often put the LSi15's refurbs on sale for $849.99 with free shipping.

Try Acoustic Sound Design or Sound Distributors with coupon code TV15, 934$ including shipping, brand new 5 years warranty.

And velocitydreamer, keep in mind that every speaker from the LSi series are 4 ohm rated speakers, which means they really need a 4 ohm compatible amp. Almost no receiver can handle such loads, even 1000$+ ones (while a 400$ integrated amp can do it...) so it really needs some dedicated amplification, or else, you'll fry your receiver in no time with those LSi15. I recommand that you try to get a LSiC if you ever go the LSi15 route, for timbre matching... Hell, if you really want to go overboard, you could get an entire LSi15 set with center channel and surround speakers + a PL 200 sub for 2125$... :P

However, if you don't mind spending a little bit more for an external amp, go for it, as those speakers are on clearance and will probably never be on sale again (except from Polk Refurbished). They're way smoother than the RTi line (the tweeter isn't as harsh), they are detailled and very musical speakers. They still do really a very great job for HT, but music is their prime task. I use and really enjoy my LSi7 for 2 ch movies duties, much more than my old RTi6. When you hear some music in a movie, you're like "wooow"... put a smile on your face every time and those speakers keep every detail perceptible but yet subtle.

Did I told you I love my LSi7? For that price, you can't go wrong with either LSi.
