I like the fact that it includes REAL SEALS in the action. Should get a level of realism you don't often see in Hollywood.

Love 2 things in the trailer:
Catching the body so it doesn't splash (so much).
Driving the truck into the water for the "hot extract". Marcinko said When all hell is breaking loose Seals go to the water.

I saw it yesterday evening. It was entertaining but no different than any other shoot em up flick.

Finally say this yesterday. The acting wasn't great, but if you went into this movie expecting Navy Seals to be professional actors, well, you deserve to be disappointed because you're an idiot.

The action scenes were pretty awesome. The entire sequence when they are getting the hostage out is awesome. The 'Call of Duty' filming was different. I personally enjoyed it as I didn't think it was too over-done.

I have never in my life seen a theater so quiet and solemn during the credits. Saw more than a handful of people crying as they left.

I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to everyone.

They were accurate at least. I appreciated the authenticity, and the lack of superhuman special effects driven movement. The use of live fire ammunition instead of caps and blanks gave the feel of actually being in a firefight, rather than sound being added later by effects techs on a soundstage.

I loved this film, and recommend it highly. The only thing I found disturbing was that half the audience I viewd with got up and left, tossing disparaging comments towards the screen as the names of the fallen "operatore" appeard on screen. Makes me wish a SEAL was in the theater to clean their clocks.

Hats off to the Navy SEALS!

Not entirely unexpected here in the PRK, but maddening just the same. I seriously wanted to knock some heads. If these douchenozzles actually paid attention to the enormous sacrifice these men defending their right to be stupid, they should have cheered all movie long.

    Some will never get it...

Keep strong on the front John. Sooner or later Mom will flush them all down into the Pacific.

That's crazy. I still remember being on a plane and talking with the lady next to me. She asked if I was in the military because I kept saying ma'am (she was in her late 50s and i was probably ~18 at the time). I told her that's just the way I was raised. She lived in California and said it's nice to hear and that it's something she never hears in California.

I thought it was kind of a fluke until last year I had a friend of mine who's a teacher tell me she had parents come up to her saying that their kid doesn't say ma'am or sir because where they just moved from (CA), it was disrespectful.

Another reason why I'm proud to live in TX I guess.
