I'll let someone chime in on the price, but that's a very sought after system if it's still in good shape you shouldn't have any problem finding buyers. What are you going to get instead?

I just listened to Lord of the Rings opening sequence on my own semi-RT5000 system again. Wow...

I'll probably never let mine be replaced by anything.

I would like another pair of RT3000P's for rears and another CS1000P for rear center one day. SERIOUSLY, I hope to one day.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

That's a great system. You may want to downsize now because you're excited about your new interest in Golf or the addition of a new kid or something, but in the end you will be reminded that music and movies suck unless heard at 110dB in a fully pressurized environment with your nuts tickling your tonsils.

A true 9/10 system in black with no functional issues, I feel, would be priced fairly somewhere around 1250-1750. I know it's a broad ballpark, but I believe theyve been undervalued in the market in the last year. Personally, I feel anyone getting a set in perfect working order for less than $1800 is getting a steal based on performance, but the market is the market. All depends on how badly you want to sell and how long your willing to wait to get your price.

I agree, the demand is WAY higher than the supply so keep that in mind . I understand the downsizing thing but i'd hate to see you regret it and not be able to go back to the system you have.
