Wondering if there are any glaring differences in sound between these. Specs are very similar. CSi5 are harder to get and still arent cheap. CS20 are more abundant. Would the CS20 be a good match with my RTi12s?

In short no, the csi5 is a closer match, even the cs400 you have now is a closer match than the 20. The cs20 matches well with the monitor line, The rti12's are a huge improvement over that line. If I were you, I'd put the coin into a new subwoofer. Just my .02

New sub eh? That was the last thing on my mind lol. I really like the JBL, more so than the Polk. It's tighter and seems to dig deeper. Thanks for the advice on the center. I have a "wanted" post to possibly trade my CS400i and some cash or something for a CSi5.

The Csi5 is a perfect timbre match, the CS20 would stand out like a sore thumb, it just can't keep up with the 12's imho.

The CSi5 is a perfect match if you can find one and if you can't the CSiA6 would work too. It looks almost identical to the CSi5 and it supposed to be the same internal components.

Cool, my suggestion for the new sub was because neither one in my opinion does the RTI 12's justice. Something from SVS, HSU, Epik, Velo, just to name a few would greatly enhance your HT experience. Not that a new center won't either, but bang for your buck, I'll stand by the sub suggestion.

They are selling CSi5's on the Polk Direct Ebay store:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/CSi5-BLACK-Center-Channel-Polk-Audio-RTi-Series-/390321569296?pt=Speakers_Subwoofers&hash=item5ae0fa7e10

    $225+free ship.

Not sure if you'd shopped there already. I'd agree the 5 would be a much better match than the CS20. I'm someone who would prefer to upgrade a center channel over a subwoofer, however, if you do go the sub route tonyb's suggestions are a good spot to start.
