I'm only hoping Rich gets drunk enough tonight to throw that turntable of his up for Karma. Thing is it would have to be a quick karma before he sobered up.

    Happy Birthday.

Glad that your mandatory OT is over and you can get back to enjoying some audio. Hope all is well with the family as well, and best wishes for a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Thanks for the well wishes! I wish you and yours the same! Funny thing, after one of my partners came back from injury, one left the company and the OT has been back on since Thanksgiving week.

LOL.... That kinda sucks but its gotta be good for the audio budget .

P.S. my OT was over after a month of 60+ hours. I think this whole years stress is finally over thank you jesus. Stress and Crohns isnt a good combo...

Anyway what was the playlist you went with on your Birthday, and did you go only vinly or spin up some CD's or SACDs?

Yeah, I plan to spend some of that $$ on audio.

Oh man, a playlist? Keep in mind the wife believes in equal opportunity listening and she has Squeezebox loaded on her smart phone. But I alone control the vinyl.:cheesygrin:

On the new to me Lenco turntable, (some repeats from Saturday after an early morning cartridge swap), George Winston / Autumn, Falco / Rock Me Amadeus single, a fine 200g Japanese Universal pressing of Steely Dan / Gaucho and another fine 200g Japanese pressing, Nirvana / Nevermind and Linda Ronstadt/ Simple Dreams. (Her rendition of Blue Bayou just sends me).

Digital wise, Rihanna / Loud, Maroon 5 / Hands All Over, Depeche Mode / Exciter, Alannah Myles / Alannah Myles, Chris Spheeris / Enchantment and some dinner music by Yo Yo Ma / Bach - The Unaccompanied Cello Suites.

All digital, flac from PC through a hard wired (CAT5) SB Touch feeding a modded external DAC. No SACD today. Flac conversion handled by PC, not the Touch. (Most of Soundcheck's Toolbox 3.0 applied to the Touch).
