In the real world $2,600 should buy you two sets of original SRS speakers. I pity the guy who uses the buy it now button at $3,200.

...except that they are actually 1.2's, not the original SRS's. Note that the IC is pin/blade. There is no such thing as an original SRS that has a pin/blade IC. The pair that are for sale can be converted to 1.2 TL's with the appropriate mods. Price is still a bit on the high side IMHO.

You have better eyes than I do if you can tell they are pin/blade. What's up with the rusted screws on the tweets? If they are 1.2's that would put it in the $1,300 range for me. Changing them to a TL version is a PITA in my opinion. If you really wanted TL's find the real deal. Doing the mods would easily put you in the real 1.2tl price range territory.

Way too high maybe he was also high when he set the price. I found that listing when it first when up and wanted too ask him what drugs he was on and if they were included in that price because they must be good.

WOW! I bought both of my sets of SDA-SRS's (combined!) for less that the price of that auction. Incredible. And it wasn't just one guy wanting them bad - there were 32 bids. They do look to be in prestine condition though...

Maybe vintage Polk speakers are making a comeback. I should put a set up for sale.......... Nah!

These typically trade in a range of from $800 to $1,300. Have they been upgraded in some way that you think makes them worth 300% of the going rate?

Damn... sold for $2175. The big boys are making a come back...

    Love the seller's Q&A:
Q: Do you have the original SDA interconnecting cable for these speakers?
A: Do you mean the one that's included in the pictures?
    More later,

Not to sound harsh, but sometimes I have picked up various gear thought the years, here and there, for a song. That does not set a price guide. If I find a $100 bill on the sidewalk, it is still worth $100.
