Need to replace mw6500 (both) for my Monitor 10 (1979).

I would like to replace my mid-range woofers MW6500 and happen to have a couple of MW6502 (from my smaller Monitor 7) and from my research, it would appear that the 6500 are 8 ohms, the 6502 are 4 ohms. These appear to be hooked up in parallel so the 6500 are reduced to 4 ohms and if I were to hook up the 6502 in parallel I would end up with 2 ohms. Anyone know if I am correct? Thanks for your input.

I have the old Polk monitor 10's10a that you have you need mw6500 not mw3500. I would watch the for sale section on here or eBay as they do come up from time too time. Good luck.Absolute corruption empowers absolutely.

Thanks for the reply Phasewolf. What do you mean by the 'sale section on here'?
