    Why do they put "on" and "off" on light switches? If the light is on, you can see that it's on. If the light is off, it would be too dark to read the switch.

    First off, they are darksuckers, not light bulbs. Secondly, this is in case the darksucker is in need of replacement.

    I'm sure I should be remembering this stuff better than I am, but don't trees in the forest have what could be construed as both male and female reproductive organs?

    The emotional female parts would take over, and the man would be crushed dead by large falling branches.
