How many of you would be interested in a private, in house demo of products from Audience? This would be a couple power conditioners, speaker cable and a power cable. You would get one of the items they send me, get to check it our for a couple weeks and then send it off to the next person. You're not out any money aside from shipping which is nominal at best.

http://www.audience-av.com/conditioners/

They also manufacture the Auri-Cap for you xover tweakers.

Audience supported us at CAF this year, just as they were passing thru, with a power conditioner on our LSiM setup. It really made a noticeable difference beings the power into the room was awful and fluctuated quite a bit. It may have been a load issue and the fact that 50 other manufacturers were showing there products as well so the hotel had a heavy burden to say the least.

I've spoken with my hookup over there and he has a couple conditioners and some interconnects he'd like to toss into our little demo program that we currently have for our speakers.

Let me know if you're interested in this thread.

Audience will also be providing the caps(Auri-Cap) for the Xmas RTiA1 HotRod that I'll post in the coming week. Just FYI.

Absolutely I'd be in!! I really like the Auricap line of caps for coupling purposes.

I would be very interested. I could finally get to test new powercords on my sub and my Integra to see if they make any difference and switch up some speaker cables.

Brock - I'm going to send you the power conditioner he sends me then. I'll let you know more when I do, sound good? You have to do a full review if you don't mind, since I know you have a rock solid setup and can put it to task.

ES - I'll send you the cables for the first round as well. Let me know if you can review them and stuff, ok?

No problem Mark, as long as it's around or after the Holiday's. I can probably get some of the local guys to come over and put in their two cents as well.

Excellent, thanks man. The RAS gang? It'll be after the holidays and the latter idea is even better since multiple ears and opinions would be a welcome change to the normal process of checking out new products and stuff.

Yep, the RAS gang. We've needed a solid excuse to have a full on meet anyway.

I have time to put them in with the LSi's and my Carver amp. Sunday my wife works and I dont, so its my 8 hour audio fun day (auditioning, swapping in and out gear, etc) in addition to time throughout the week when she goes to the gym. I will see if I cant rope a local guy or two in to get their thoughts as well. I can also throw them in with my much more modest HK 3490 + Monitor 60 setup. They gotta be a big improvement over the Monoprice wire I have right now in that setup..... lol....

I'd be very interested. I'm actually in the market for a new power conditioner and haven't ventured into the after market power cables yet.

    Thanks

I would love to get in on the speaker cable rotation. Be doing A/B testing vs. Monoprice cable.

Let me know if there would be any issues. I would love to try out the power conditioner since I have terrible power (Maybe not as terrible as I make it out to be) but I'm sure it would be quite expensive to ship.

This is great Mark, thanks for doing this.

    Hey Doro,
I just recently purchased an Audience Powerchord and I'm very pleased with the results. You guys are in for a real treat. I am interested in demoing the speaker cables for sure.

Thanks for setting up this opportunity for us here at CP.

    Mark,
I'm interested in both, but will be at least mid-January before I'll be able to spend time with them. With interest already posted it doesn't seem like they'd head my way before then anyway.

My new addy info will be on your Christmas card... xmas-smiley-016.gif

I ordered the basic Powerchord, non "e" version and I will be getting more as funds permit.

Check out this power cord shoot out that Dan Wright (Modwright) did back in 2002. He chose 7 different power cords, roughly in the same price range and used them on one of his Sony SACD players with Absolute Truth Mods. The winner was the Audience Powerchord! http://www.audience-av.com/reviews/PDF/ModWrightShootout.pdf
