How big of a room and what are your listening habits....mid volume for jazz or acoustic, or do you like to pretend you are at a Who concert?

When I had RTiA3s and CSi3 I could run those in a medium sized room to "turn that down" loud from my wife using my Yamaha RX-V1800

That Denon claims to have discrete channels, meaning all the channels should put out the rated 90w/ch. Looks like a nice avr, should do fine for those speakers. It does not have pre-outs, so you will not be able to add an amp if you upgrade your speakers. Something to think about.

It would power it fine, though I doubt it would actually hit 90w/channel all channels driven. Discrete or not, the power supply is still shared.

its what I'm running right now and the denon folks said it wasn't powerful enough.

because i had to turn it up to -9ish db to have decent volume

I tinkered around and turned off samsung tv's anynet and now -40 db is about what -9 db was sounding like

I am using a HK AVR-3600 to power RTI A3 fronts with a CSI A6 center.
