We all know that Eric Stoltz was replaced by Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly, but did you know the part of his girlfriend also had the actress replaced?

Wired.com has a story today on Marty McFly's original girlfriend, as portrayed by Melora Hardin (better known today for her work on The Office)

Just saying, I know plenty of 40+ women who did NOT age well.

    Interesting article.

I'm glad Michael J. Fox played the part and not Eric Stoltz. Everything I've seen Stoltz in reminds me of Kevin Constner's acting style. Same monotone method every single movie.

And yes.. she's aging quite well.
