I didn't see anyone mention this so I thought I'd post it here. Harry Morgan was a veteran actor who made his film debut in 1942's "To The Shores Of Tripoli" . He appeared in a multitude__ of films and later on in many tv series. The younger folks here will probably remember him best as Col. Sherman T. Potter on the tv series M.A.S.H. along with many other shows. One of the best character actors ever in my book and a real class act. We will miss you Harry, R.I.P.

I'll second that. I am kind of remembering the MASH episode where Col Potter received the champagne in the mail and he shared it with the group. Turns out it was a group of four buddies who had made a pact and the last one alive got to drink to the others. So here's to you........ -
Sad news but 96 is quite a long life for anyone. Seems he was treated for pneumonia before he passed away.
I always liked him in Dragnet and Mash. Great actor! -
Love the man---RIP. My favorite line of his..."that'll put hair on your saddle horn son." LOL!Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2
