    i don't think posting here increase your count. if you click on a member's name, an option to send an email will appear if they allow it.

    I was happy to get to 100 just so I could pm larry for the rings. Plus, it is a milestone for knowing the rabbit hole is at least 100 rungs deep, and getting deeper.

    But you're probably right, someone just trying to get into selling something, but I like to give some benefit of doubt. I wonder how many people were saved from selling their stuff and turned into upgrading and tweaking instead based on forum rules.

    HA too funny, testing area and club house(I believe) do not count towards post counts. At least that emotiva dude got 10/14 in one thread in the vintage speaker forum. I love padding for post count horing....it's even better when newbs try to do it in the testing area.

    The testing area doesn't count towards post count, correct DIAR.

    Why not just participate in the many threads available for general conversation? This place can't possibly be that lame that you can't find common ground in regards to subject matter here. It reflects poorly on you if this is all you're trying to do is PM someone. Many new members come and end up being regulars when they realize it's pretty cool to hang out here and interact.

    YMMV....do what you want.
