Woke up this morning freezing. Furnace is out! Then I went to call service company and the home phone is out! Holy Crap! What is next? Have power and obviously internet...but please, please spare the stereo!!!!!!!

    or in the case of modern furnaces, chech the igniter/flame sensor.

    It was the flame sensor. Service guy replaced it and cleaned the system. 169 bones, bye, bye.

    When I first saw the name of this thread today, I thought it was referring to the passing of Harry Morgan, the awesome actor featured in a multitude of movies and tv series. R.I.P Harry we will miss you.

    My igniter went out a few years ago. As deronb1 suggested, they aren't cheap! You'd think those things were diamond encrusted or something... :eek:

    Now the phone diagnosis?
    Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.
