    Not enough power in the 671 to drive all those speakers. Your going to want to look at for a more powerful reciever or one with preouts to hookup an amp to it 871 has preouts and going for around $500 at Cosco if you can find one.

    More damage done by under powering speakers than over. IMO your WAY underpowering those speakers with the 671.

    oh wow, this guy does have multiple threads with the same question. No this receiver really is not enough to do those speakers any justice.

    Get some more power, something like a Denon 9XX series or higher, Onkyo 7xx series or higher, or one of the Pioneer SC receivers.
