I need to extend the leads on my capacitors for the upgrade to my SDA2B crossovers. What wire should I use?

Like Larry says....if the cut offs are long enough. Other than that, I use insulated 18 gauge solid core copper wire.

I have used DH Labs 18 guage - I believe it is something like T-10X or something along those lines. Usually comes twisted for long runs...

I was thinking of using some good copper wire that is the same size such as a 18awg copper wire.

Just don't use bare copper wire as it will oxidize.

You could just spray the bare wire with a clear laquer or paint. There's no reason not to use what you have handy.

Thanks everyone for your advice. I ended up getting some 18awg wire from an electrician friend. It came from some demoed ballast from fluorescent lights. It was solid and insulated and when I put the iron to it for tinning it conducted the heat very well and fast. Good stuff.
