The Cell Phone LOVING thread

Fine, I won't lock any more threads, so I guess I'll just start my own.

I LOVE my cellphone. (pronounced: celfone) I’m not sure how I could function without it. Email too, it’s like I’m living in the woods with no connection to the world. I could live without a tv, but my email and cellphone I must have!

So EFF YOU if you don’t like ‘em. I never keep my ringer on when I’m in public (except on accident, which I HATE) and I don’t stand in line talking on the phone about my baby’s mother’s sister who cheated on her boyfriend with his cousin’s brother. Can we shoot these people in public, or at least make them go to the back of the line when they are on the phone?

    I would assume that you are a responsible cell phone user.

    See, it's the same with mini-vans. It's not the object themselves that are evil it's the people that use them and HOW they use them that makes them evil.

    There may be a solution to careless cell phoning. What is careless? How about my pet peeves... use in a sit down resteraunt, movie theater, driving down the road,... Go to a good web search bot page and search on 'cell phone jammer' or 'jammer cell phone' The search will return several good sites that make jammers. There was one that I liked that jammed about two hundred yards in diameter. What it does is jam the carrier that the phone uses to log on to the nearest cell tower making the phone think there is no service and subsequently make the phone trip if it is in service. The FCC would probabily not appreciate it. But, it would be nice to go out to eat and no cell phone would work in the resteraunt.
